BENENDEN HOSPITAL

Benenden is a ‘first-class’ independent healthcare provider set in the heart of Kent, an independent Trust hospital with charitable status.
The project comprised of the construction of the new East and West wings, major internal refurbishment of the existing hospital and associated demolition and external works, all while the hospital remained in operation.
The project was let under a single stage contract with two sections:
Phase 1: The new East block with a new plant room, theatres, and internal refurbishment of the existing hospital.
Phase 2: Consisted of demolishing existing theatres and construction of a new West Wing block containing the outpatient’s department, imaging centre, main entrance, and internal refurbishment of the existing hospital.
