We’re proud to support the Habs Aspire Mentoring Programme – a unique initiative offering one-to-one online mentoring for sixth form students across Habs secondary schools.
About Habs Aspire Mentoring Programme
Habs Aspire is a mentoring programme to benefit the 2000 sixth formers at the nine Haberdashers secondary schools in England and Wales. The mentoring programme for Haberdashers’ sixth formers connects them with professionals from the school’s extensive membership and community networks. Habs Aspire aims to build confidence, increase awareness of different career paths, and give students practical advice and support as they move into the wider world. With the aim of equipping the next generation to succeed.
“Together we can create a powerful and wide-ranging network of mentees and mentors. We know the importance of mentoring for young people so they can be guided in their next steps.”
Jan Shadick, Haberdashers’ Academies Trust South CEO
MESH’s mentors
To support the programme three members of the MESH team have offered up their time as mentors to help shape students’ academic and personal growth with Melis, Cat and Tom providing insight into the world of construction and marketing.
“The Habs Aspire Programme is a fantastic opportunity for us to offer career support while helping students build confidence. It’s a rewarding initiative, and we hope our ongoing conversations make a meaningful impact.”
