For the third year in a row, we have planted 70 more trees in the UK. This means we have now planted 210 in our efforts towards creating greener communities and providing more wildlife habitats.
As part of our Sustainability Strategy, we are committed to helping communities become greener by planting trees in local areas and by offsetting our emissions.
Since becoming a certified Carbon Neutral Organisation, we have also offset our emissions for the second year in a row. This year, we are supporting the Pacajai REDD+ Project in Para, Brazil. The main emissions of 264.116 tCO2e for a period of 40 years.
The project’s mission extends beyond pure environmental benefits and includes a number of community and biodiversity objectives too.
In our dedication to becoming more sustainable and supporting the UK’s Net Zero 2050 goal, we will continue to offset our emissions and support projects that provide jobs, access to clean energy, and provide clean water to communities.
