This month, the CSR team got down and dirty with nature.
Rachel Fulla, Elizabeth Treadwell, Kathryn Walton, Sean Ingham, and Melis Osman, together with the other participants helped plant over 600 trees at The Grove Hotel in Watford.
The event was well organised by Watford and West Herts Chamber of Commerce, in support of Beyond Trees charity.
Beyond Trees supports tree planting projects and initiatives that focus on self-awareness and well-being.
Examples of projects Beyond Trees supports:
- Urban tree planting for improved mental health of residents.
- Planting in schools for environmental education for children.
- Planting fruit trees in developing countries for poverty alleviation.
- Creating wildlife corridors to support biodiversity.
- Corporate & volunteer planting experiences for community ownership and taking responsibility.
We will continue to work with Beyond Trees charity on their future initiatives.
