At the age of 22 years old, Cost Consultant, Daniel Parker has passed his APC and at MESH, we couldn’t be prouder.
Daniel joined MESH five years ago as an apprentice, whilst studying at Anglian Ruskin University. He then graduated last year with a degree in Quantity Surveying. Daniel has continued to show dedication and commitment to his work whilst supporting Construction Youth with their careers talks and highlighting the benefits of a Degree Apprenticeship route while combining it with his APC studies.
At MESH, we understand the importance of learning and developing our team and for this reason have launched a Training Academy. Within the Training Academy, we have dedicated counsellors and supervisors who provide structured guidance, Q&A sessions, mock interviews, and review submissions ahead of those looking to sit their APC.
“I always enjoyed Maths in School and my BTEC Diploma at Six Form gave me the opportunity to get into university and chose the Degree Apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying. Choosing the Degree Apprenticeship route definitely helped. The Degree Apprenticeship allowed me to study part-time over four years while gaining invaluable work experience. It gave me hands-on insight into the industry alongside academic knowledge. Going through the Apprenticeship route also gave me the chance to work with and learn from experienced professionals early in my career and not to mention graduating without being in debt is a big plus.”
