Martyn Stokes and Zoë Curnow walked the impressive 128,263 steps over six days up Mount Kilimanjaro, organised by Action Challenge. A total raised of £5,286, and proceeds went to two charities, St Francis Hospice and Alzheimer’s Society.
Speaking to Martyn on his return, he said: “Setting off at 7pm to summit Kilimanjaro at sunrise the next day, following two hours sleep after a five hour trek, was the most challenging, and amazing, part of the climb…and we made it!”.
